At the end of November, the team at Your Business Voice grew with the employment of new starters Nick and Sian.
The pair have both come from face to face customer service environments, but were looking for a change of scenery and to experience customer service in a new environment to one that they were used to. Both Nick and Sian have both come to Your Business Voice to develop their customer service skills, applying the skills and approach they had gained from working with customers face to face to working in a contact centre environment.
Nick is 20 and has previous customer service experience in sports retail, working on the shop floor and communicating with customers on a regular basis.
‘’Overall I am finding working at YBV exciting as every call is different.” said Nick, “I’ve had nothing but help and support from my new colleagues which has helped me find my feet. Never did I imagine YBV being the backbone for a variety of businesses, big and small, up and down the U.K.’’
Sian is 23 and has recently graduated from university, where she was studying towards a Business Management degree. Having previous worked in customer service part time during her studies, she is looking to grow and develop her skills at Your Business Voice.
“ I am enjoying my new role in the business, some aspects of the job more challenging than others which was to be expected.” said Sian, “The team are all very supportive and are always on hand to help both of us where needed. They answer any questions we have, no matter how silly the question might seem which boosts our confidence and helps us learn faster!”
